Professional development
Nico Kling has been working as a research fellow in the Data and Platform Based Value Creation Unit at Fraunhofer IMW since June 2023.
He studied International Management at the Deggendorf University of Applied Sciences and participated in a one-year double degree program for outstanding students at Häme University of Applied Science in Finland. He then completed a Master of Science degree in Business Intelligence & Analytics at University of Technology Chemnitz.
During his master's studies, he worked as a student trainee at an IT consultancy and was a research assistant at the West Saxon University of Applied Sciences Zwickau at the Chair of Information Systems. There, he focused his research on the topics of data literacy and artificial intelligence applications in education, among others.
At Fraunhofer IMW, he is conducting research on data-driven value creation potentials based on real-life experiments in SMEs in Saxony.
